ONLINE PRE STUDY AND 2 DAYS IN CLASSROOM PRACTICAL LEARNING
(Two initial days and then an optional half a day of training which will consist of client reviews and will be arranged when you are in the academy.)
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
NONE - SUITABLE FOR COMPLETE BEGINNERS. MEDIC & NON MEDIC.
You may wish to check with your chosen insurance company before enrolling on the course whether they are happy for you to perform the treatment without any pre requisitions. The insurance company we work with requires you to hold an Anatomy & Physiology qualification prior. We offer this as an add on to this course or it can be booked separately.

Once you have signed up for this course and made your payment (in full or deposit) you will be sent your booking confirmation (this is automated by our website). Following on from this within 48 hours you will be sent another email this will include your starter pack, in depth training manual/s and assignments. These assignments are to be completed in your own time at home. We are on hand to help you with these should you need us too. Upon completion of these you will have the knowledge that you need to attend your in classroom practical training at our academy.

There will be a variety of starter activities used before working on live models to ensure you are confident. A live demo will be performed for each treatment and then you will begin to work on your models with a multiple amount of models for each treatment to ensure you leave feeling confident. You will be able to take photos and video record the demo. We will also take content of you working as well to help build you a portfolio of your work, which is really important when starting out. We pride ourselves on providing a high level of models for students.
Each day will include a break for lunch (not included - you can bring your own or go out for lunch).
Upon completion of your practical training you will be awarded with your qualification certificates. This will enable you to obtain insurance so that you can begin taking client bookings straight away. We are partnered with an insurance company which we provide you with the details of so that you can obtain a quote from them. You must pass all assignments and attend your practical training in order to receive your qualification certificate/s.
Once you have completed your course you will be added into a private Whats app group where you can receive on going support. You are also welcome to come back to the academy to shadow clinic days if you feel this is something you would benefit from. These can be arranged via email.
HOW TO BOOK / PAYMENT:
This course can be paid for in full at the checkout. Or you can sign up with a "deposit only" option. If you choose to sign up with deposit only, you will be sent your starter pack and training manual/s allowing you to make a start on your assignments. The balance for your course is due no later than 10 calendar days before the first day of practical training. There are no exceptions to this. We accept all major debit/credit cards. Alternatively we now offer multiple finance payment options option at the checkout too. Under no circumstance will any payment be refunded as you will have been sent your course materials. If signing up via our deposit only option it is up to the individual to ensure they are able to pay the remaining balance on time.
If you wish to pay part finance and part another method of payment for example cash or online banking transfer then please contact us direct via leanneslaterstudios@outlook.com so that we can arrange this with yourself.

By booking onto one of our training courses you are agreeing to the below information.
Age restrictions - You must be 18 or over to complete this course.
Models - If you would like to provide your own models for this course then please arrange with us via email leanneslaterstudios@outlook.com. Alternatively we can source these for you.
Payment - All payments are final and non refundable.
Cancellation Policy - If you need to cancel or rearrange after the deposit or full balance has been paid, you are required to give a minimum of 10 calendar days notice & you will have the option to re arrange your course, if you wish. If you cancel with less than 10 calendar days notice your course won’t be able to be transferred to another date. You will be able to change the date of your course only once and if the correct notice is given. We do not give refunds.
Complaints - Should you for any reason be unhappy with your course you must inform us in writing within 48 hours of completing the course to discuss options. Any complaint received after this time will be dealt with appropriately but no refund will be given.
Location - All training (unless. stated otherwise upon booking) is held at Leanne Slater Studios - Training Academy 19 Acorn Street Stoke Aldermoor Coventry CV3 1DP.
Parking - There is free unlimited parking directly to the front of the studio and on the streets in the surrounding area.
